The Cobbler Mountain Cellars story begins in 1959, when Laura McCarthy Louden’s father, Lawrence McCarthy, purchased Long Fall Farm. A forward-thinking teacher and activist for children with disabilities, “Larry” tended to the property until he died in the mid-1960s, just before Laura was born. Forty years later, Laura and husband Jeff Louden resurrected the beautiful Fauquier County farm, naming their new winery after the noble, nearby peak, Big Cobbler Mountain.
Note: The Capitol Deal reserves the right to cap the total number of vouchers available for sale at any time.
